I think some of the biggest things that I have gained from my Southwestern experience are the fears I have faced and the change in my confidence and independence from the moment I was selected to right now.
The ability to persist, without failure in any situation–big or small. An appreciation for my parents and grandparents, and an understanding that adversity is good. I will get stronger.
What I appreciate is I feel good about where I’m at in my life right now and feel extremely prepared for life after college. I feel like I can take on any challenge that comes my way, and not only survive, but thrive. I also really appreciate the great
